Development Director, Bomoko: United for Congo
Ginette Mukoka is the Development Director for Bomoko. Bomoko develops unique initiatives promoting equal access for all Congolese to high quality healthcare, education and sustainable agriculture solutions.
Born in Kinshasa and raised in both the DRC and the U.S., Ginette attended the University of Arizona, where she obtained a Bachelors’ Degree in Public Management from the Eller School of Business. She is also a graduate of the University of Baltimore, where she obtained a Master’s in Legal and Ethical Studies. Her keen ambition to always work for her country has led her to many places, including the University of Oxford, where she obtained a certificate in Diplomacy.
Ginette has twelve years of experience in both the corporate and non-profit world and started her role as Development Director for Bomoko in September 2016. Her academic and professional background has led her to work in various organizations such as the British Council and companies such as Standard Bank. Throughout her various experience, she has fundraised for a transition house for homeless women in Tucson, Arizona. She has also worked closely on projects tailored to support the Congolese military, including helping them learn English and develop life skills. Prior to her role at Bomoko, Ginette worked as an Anti-Money Laundering Officer for Standard Bank and reported to its headquarter in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Ginette is also the co-founder of a platform called Spoir that is dedicated to bring awareness and solutions for sickle cell disease.
